Manang / Tilicho Lake

From Besishahar to Chamje (1500m) we went by jeep. In Chamje we started the trek. Our destination was the Tilicho lake (5000m). The initially damp climate changed abruptly when we arrived on the north side of the impressive Annapurna range. The villages and the countryside are beautiful and the location of the Tilicho lake is magnificient. Brown desert-like hills, white glaciers and the blue of the water give an indescribably beatiful scenery.
